Joining us for this year's New Year's celebrations were Côr Bro Gwerfyl, and an as yet un-named group of Bodhran players from the Delyn Wine Bar...
- Cadi Ha festival, May 2005
Venues for this year's festival were Holywell town centre, Greenfield Valley Heritage Centre, Caerwys, Mold, and Loggerheads Country Park. There were representatives from dance groups throughout Wales, including Cardiff who entertained everyone with their own interpretation of the Cadi Ha, and many Flintshire school dance teams were present for the morning session in Holywell. The 'international' guests this year were the dance portion of the Bolingey Troyl Band!

Special guests this year were the Felinheli Choir, together with the usual mix of folk music, dancing, singing, poetry competitions, and the unusual sight of duelling Mari Lwyds! The event this year was dedicated to the memory of Geoff Jenkins, the founder of Dawnswyr Delyn.

Once again, Dawnswyr Delyn and friends take over Holywell town centre for some springtime fun, also visiting Flint Castle, Bagillt, and Loggerheads Country Park. Special guests this year are Bock Yuan Fannee from the Isle of Man.

Each year in the first week of January, Dawnswyr Delyn and guests host an evening to celebrate the 'old', traditional New Year. It takes the form of an informal evening of entertainment consisting of singing, dancing, music, an appearance by the gorgeous Mari Lwyd, and whatever else seems appropriate. Including this year the Improvised Stepping Competition for the prize of The Golden Clog!
